ABOUT CENTRE AND REGISTRATION

Where is your centre located?

  • KLCC area – We’re located at No. 17 Jalan Yap Kwan Seng, 50450 Kuala Lumpur. It’s a single storey bungalow beside Stadium Negara restaurant
  • KL Sentral area – We’re on level 4, Menara Shell, on Jalan Tun Sambathan. Just take the elevator near RHB Menara Shell, and stop on the 4th floor.
  • KL Eco City (Midvalley/Bangsar) – We’re opening a new centre in the new mall located in KL Ecocity Bangsar. Target operational will be in March 2018.

I have registered online, when can I start sending my child?

The first step is to make an appointment for the centre of your choice. Once you have decided to sign up with Little Playhouse, we will check availability. If there is no waitlist, you may join immediately. If there is a waitlist, you will be given a tentative start date. Please fill up our online registration form and make full settlement of the initial registration payment in order to secure your booking.

OPERATIONAL

What is the minimum age, you’re accepting? What are the available packages?

We accept infants from the age 2 months old.

Infant 2 Months - 12 Months - Full day only

Playgroup 1 Year - 2 Years Old - Half day & Full day

Junior 3 Years - 5 Years Old - Half day & Full day

Pre-School 5 Years & above - Half day & Full day

Transit 7-year-old - Half day only

What is your operational hours?

We’re open from 8 am to 6 pm, Mondays to Fridays. Late pickups (after 6.30pm) will be charged RM10.00 per half an hour.

Are you open during weekends? School holidays? Public holidays?

We are not open during weekends & public holidays. If a public holiday falls on a Saturday, our centres will take one day before (Friday) off.

Our centres will also take a few days off during Hari Raya Aidil Fitri and at the end of the year, therefore parents are advised to go through our yearly planner before planning their Leaves

Our daycare operates as usual during school holidays. However, our pre-schools will only be running holiday program during school holidays, no lesson program will be conducted during school holidays

If I sign up at the KLCC centre, am I allowed to transfer to KL Sentral in the future?

Yes – subject to availability. There will be no extra charges for the transfer, however, your monthly fee will be adjusted to the rate of the new centre.

Do you install CCTV at your centre?

Yes, we do have CCTV installed at strategic points in our centre, and the recording is kept for 7 days.

Can I stay with my child during the first few days?

Parents are not allowed to wait in the children area, however, if you wish to, you may stay in the reception area or the nearby F & B outlet. Our staff will update you on your child’s progress on his/her first day.

Are your staff trained?

Yes. Our teaching staff has at least 3 years’ experience in childcare industry or at least a Diploma in Early Childhood Learning.

Can I send my older child to the centre during school holidays?

Yes, you may. The charges will be RM250 per week, subject to availability.

Am I allowed to send my child if he/she is unwell?

 

Any child who is unwell should not be brought into the nursery. This is to prevent the spread of infection. Our staff shall have full authority to prevent any child from attending the day’s session if there is even the slightest chance of infection. If you are in doubt as to whether a child should attend, you will be directed to the nearest clinic. Children who are unwell or infectious will be refused entry to the nursery until fully recovered.

DISCOUNTS AND TRIAL SESSIONS

Do you have discount for siblings?

Yes, siblings enjoy up to 20% discount on monthly fees. (10% if its half day/alternate days package)

Is there a discount if I bring my own food, my child do not shower at the centre or pick up my children earlier by a few hours everyday?

No, there will be no discount.  The monthly fees are for the childcare services. The food, beverages & shower facilities are complimentary.

Is there a free trial if I want to see if my child can adapt to nursery life

There is no free trial. However, you may go for weekly arrangement, prior to signing up long term. ( Please refer to the short-term fee rate)

Will I get a reduction in monthly fee if I don’t come to the centre?

Monthly Fees must be paid for regardless of whether the child attends. No refunds will be given for sessions missed due to absence, holidays or sickness. Failure to meet monthly fee payments will result in the termination of the Nursery place.

The centre was closed for operation due to HFMD, will I get a compensation on the days that I cant send my child to the centre?

There will be no compensation for any loss suffered, arising directly or indirectly, as a result of the Nursery being temporarily closed or the non-admittance of your child to the Nursery for any reason. This applies to absence due to sickness, closure for disinfectant work to be carried out, and public holidays.

I will not be around for half a month, next month will I get a discount in fees? The Centre will be closed for 1 whole week for Hari Raya. Will I get a discount for the days that the centre is closed?

No discounts or refunds will be given for sessions missed due to absence, holidays, sickness or center closure.

REGISTRATION PAYMENTS AND RATES

What should I do if I want to terminate my registration, and do I get back the initial payment that I had made?

You only need to give us 1-month prior notice before terminating your registration. There will be no refund, as the enrollment fee is non-refundable.

I had to stop attending LPH immediately due to personal issues, what is the procedure if I wish to re-send my child again?

You will need to email us at [email protected] to check on availability. If there is a vacancy at that point, you may rejoin by continuing paying for your monthly fees. There is no need to make enrolment payment again.

PAYMENT TERMS

Is the payment term monthly or per term? What are the method of payment?

Per month payable by the 1st of every month in advance. The management will issue E-Invoice on the 20th day of the previous month, and parents are obligated to make payment latest by the 7th  of the month

Method of payment:

  • Bank Transfer –RHB Bank Berhad (Acc no: 214464 0000 3012)
  • Credit card – Via merchant terminal at our center will be subjected to 2% bank charges.
  • Credit card/Debit card – Via Jompay. Our code: 9035
  • Cheque – make payable to “CRESCHLINK SDN BHD”

Late Payment Fee

The Management reserves the right to impose RM100-00 late payment fee, on payments made after the 7th day of the month.

Can I send my child on a short term basis?

Yes – however, you will need to inform us at least 1 week earlier, and it will be subject to availability.

Can it be considered as half day if I send my child at 10 am and pick up at 3pm?

No. The hours for half-day packages are 8 am - 12noon. You may send your child at any time convenient in the morning, however, the absolute latest time you can extend pickup is at 1 pm

What is the overtime charges for late pick ups?

Half day

1:00pm - 1.30pm : RM 10.00
1:30pm - 2:00pm : RM 10.00

Thereafter, RM10 for every half an hour

Full day

6:00pm - 6.30pm : RM 10.00
6:30pm - 7:00pm : RM 10.00

Thereafter, RM10 for every half an hour
